The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America National Specialty Show

We had a great time in Gettysburg, meeting lots of wonderful Berner Folk from all over the US, Euope, and even Australia.  Jacob and Isobel showed very well, but the stars of our family were Jewel and Mac! Jewel faced some stiff competition, there were 31 bitches entered in her 12-15 mo Sweeps Class, and in her Regular 12-15 Class. But she took second in both! And was the only girl there who couldn't stop wagging her tail in the ring. Thank you Michelle Scott, for showing her so well, and making her love to show!

Mac received his Versatility Dog and Versatility Dog Excellent plaques at the awards banquet, making me a very proud breeder.  But Mac and his other mom, Buffy Bell, decided to put a big dollop of icing on my cake!  They competed - and qualified - in 3 separate performance events - agility, obedience and rally.  They won a coveted TriAthlete Award, and Mac was the only Grand Champion to get one.  Way to go, Buffy and Mac!!!
